One of the more anticipated albums of the summer has finally the hit streets. Torrence Lamont's LP, Tell'em I Said, is on all major streaming platforms from Apple Music to Spotify. Needless to say, the album shuffles through different elements of sound. There's soulful. Then, there's a rawness. Together, that makes the album a legit smash.
"It's just a dope project, man. All good music. It's music for the streets. It's music for the females. It's music for lyricism. It's just a straight vibe all around the board", says Torrence Lamont.
What makes this album special is the production. A good portion of the album was produced by the Harvey native. Other tracks were produced by Chicago producer, LawBeatz, along with Eazy and Kingzof. Yet, the majority of the ten track album was produced by the Torrence Lamont.
"Tell'em I Said is like a statement, you know what I'm saying? It's like my last three projects, you know, I got personal just talking about my life. Now that I got my life situation situated, it's time to talk that talk to these people. I got to the point that anything that comes out of my mouth, I want them go back and tell them I said that. That's how I'm comin' with this one."
