So, on September 1, 6D Networktainment hosted its second annual WindyFest on Chicago's west side. The vibes were lit! The atmosphere was relaxed. There were various types of art from traditional art to 3-D. There were a few clothing lines also representing. And of course, they snapped with the "Corner Sto' Snacks" which consisted of Frooties, Flamin' Hot Cheetos with cheese and peppers, and the little Hugs. All snacks were ONLY ONE DOLLAR! That was definitely clutch! More importantly, that simple gesture added to the aesthetic of the event. Perhaps, I was just hungry!
However, my favorite part of WindyFest was of course the music! The line up of DJs was crazy! The featured performers went nuts! Not to mention, Chicago artist, Heavy, did his thing hosting. He was on skates. He freestyled. He held it completely down and kept the energy high!
From a spectator's standpoint, the concept was really cool. With that said, WindyFest 2020 should be even more amazing. Oh, I forgot to mention! There was GIANT JENGA! WHO DOESN'T LIKE GIANT JENGA!
See y'all next year!
